We are seeking highly motivated and talented individuals to join our Nuclear Technology Trainee Program at NRG. As a trainee, you will have the opportunity to work on complex projects, develop your skills, and contribute to our mission of helping 30,000 people a day with medical isotopes.
About the ProgramOur 18-month trainee program is designed to develop your talents and provide a kick-start to your career at NRG. You will work under the guidance of senior and medior consultants, and have the opportunity to work on a minimum of two and a maximum of four projects. These projects may include:
- Preparing and carrying out modifications to nuclear facilities;
- Effects of radiation exposure on humans and environmental studies;
- Performing safety and risk analyses for nuclear facilities;
- Supervising licensing processes for radioactive waste processing.
You will also spend an average of one day a week on education and training, focusing on nuclear technology and project management. Additionally, you will have a personal coach who will support your development and help you achieve your goals.
RequirementsTo be eligible for this program, you should have a Master's degree in a relevant field, such as mechanical engineering, electrical engineering, technical business administration, physics, mathematics, or aerospace engineering. You should also have a maximum of two years of work experience and be able to demonstrate a creative mind, thinking in terms of possibilities, enterprising, and focused on cooperation.
What We OfferAs a trainee at NRG, you will receive a market-based salary, a 18-month contract, and the opportunity to grow into a medior consultant, project manager, or engineer. You will also have access to a modern employment conditions package, including 27 holidays, 12 days of flexitime, an 8.3% end-of-year bonus, and an 8% holiday allowance. Additionally, you will have the opportunity to participate in an onboarding program, training courses, and social events.
