Regional Head of Healthcare Vertical

C.H. Robinson is seeking a Regional Head of Healthcare to lead the European Global Forwarding division. This role can be based in any EU location where C.H. Robinson has operations.

As a Regional Head of the Healthcare vertical, you will oversee and execute complex, high-impact business programs. You will work closely with key stakeholders and departments to ensure program objectives are met and timelines are maintained. Your expertise in managing enterprise and global initiatives, along with a solid understanding of industry best practices and trends, will be essential.

In this role, you will engage with peers on-site four days a week, igniting creativity and driving impactful results. With the flexibility for remote work one day a week, this role strikes the perfect balance between teamwork and autonomy.

Responsibilities include:

• Managing and growing the healthcare department
• Managing program timeline, milestones, and communicating progress through facilitation of program-related meetings to meet deliverables in ongoing implementation
• Partnering in the creation of change plans and acting as a change agent while implementing programs
• Serving as the single point of contact and being accountable for all healthcare-related activities and requests
• Proactively partnering with applicable stakeholders to execute a program implementation strategy with the intent of operationalizing programs
• Managing program budget, ensuring timely program delivery, and overseeing effective allocation of resources, including personnel, equipment, and materials
• Ensuring programs are integrated across all applicable departments strategies and proactively planning for future integration as new strategies are developed
• Monitoring and analyzing metrics and feedback from program participants and stakeholders to recommend solutions for continuous improvement of the program experience
• Identifying updates or enhancing programs across our suite of solutions to continuously improve the right experience
• Creating and implementing processes across our suite of solutions, which includes documenting the process, defining roles and responsibilities, and following up on the execution of the process
• Identifying and managing risks and issues that may arise during the course of one or more programs. Assisting with the development of contingency plans and working with stakeholders to mitigate risks.
• Ensuring program compliance with applicable laws, regulations, and policies. Developing and implementing policies and procedures, and monitoring the program to maintain compliance
• Leading projects with manageable risks and resource requirements to ensure all program commitments are satisfied

Qualifications include:

• High School Diploma
• Minimum 5 years of experience managing and executing business-related programs or projects within the Healthcare vertical
• Commercial experience in Global Forwarding and good understanding of operations
• Ability to work flexible hours
• Ability to travel up to 15% (domestically)

Preferred qualifications include:

• Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite of programs
• Program management and coordination experience, preferred experience in agile methodologies; with the proven ability to manage multiple programs/projects simultaneously
• Experience working and thriving in a continuous improvement environment
• Experience and comfort in dealing with ambiguity and able to deliver with minimal oversight
• Strong executive presence and high level of professionalism
• Excellent consulting, influencing, coaching, facilitation, and presentation skills
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and to handle sensitive matters with judgment, tact, and diplomacy
• Experience in executive level communication for program-related communication
• Ability to analyze data to infer insights and make data-driven decisions
• Proven ability to navigate complexity and ambiguity to drive initiatives to fruition
• Ability to motivate and encourage change, able to get positive results in a very large, dispersed organization
