Enterprise Architect Back Office

About the Role:
We are seeking an experienced Enterprise Architect to lead our Back Office Engineering team at Coolblue. As a key member of our Software Engineering Board, you will be responsible for defining the strategic direction of our Back Office software architecture and ensuring its successful implementation.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop a comprehensive Back Office Engineering vision aligned with Coolblue's business objectives.
- Initiate, organize, and supervise the implementation of strategic software engineering projects to achieve the Engineering vision.
- Explore new technologies, partnerships, and opportunities to enhance scalability, speed of delivery, and cost reduction.
- Advise and lead Principal Developers, Development teams, and Product Owners on software architecture and engineering best practices.
- Challenge development roadmaps and guide buy vs build decisions to ensure effective software development.
- Hire and allocate Principal Developers, challenge their architectural choices, and provide input for their yearly assessment.
Requirements:
- Master's Degree.
- Several years of experience in Enterprise architecture.
- More than 10 years of work experience in Back Office Agile Software Development.
- Technical expertise and strong analytical skills.
- Excellent leadership and communication skills.
- Loads of autonomous drive and ownership, project management skills, and problem-solving skills.
