Job Description

In this challenging project, you will delve into the realm of time-dependent shortest path planning to optimize logistics operations.

We're looking for a master's student in computer science or a related field with a strong background in engineering, particularly in implementing dynamic programming algorithms and parallelization techniques.

You'll investigate how to improve our existing algorithms to consider traffic congestion in shortest path computations. This involves computing time-dependent shortest/fastest paths for various combinations of origin and destination while keeping computation times low.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and implement efficient algorithms for time-dependent shortest path planning.
  • Analyze and optimize existing code for improved performance.
  • Collaborate with the team to integrate new features and ensure seamless deployment.
Requirements:

To succeed in this role, you'll need:

  • A master's degree in computer science or a related field.
  • Proven experience in programming languages like C++ or Java.
  • Familiarity with data structures and algorithms, including dynamic programming.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently.
