**Job Summary**

We are seeking a highly skilled Database Operations Specialist to join our dynamic team at CREALOGIX BaaS GmbH & Co. KG in Coburg, Germany.

The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in database administration, system integration, and virtualization technologies. As a key member of our IT team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our database systems, monitoring performance, and implementing backups and security measures.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Administration and maintenance of database systems (Oracle, MySQL, PostgreSQL)
  • Monitoring system performance and ensuring availability
  • Installation, configuration, and updating of database systems
  • Restoring databases from backups
  • Configuration and management of database backups
  • Troubleshooting and support for database systems
  • Ensuring data integrity, security, and availability
  • Creation and maintenance of system and database documentation
  • Administration and support of Linux and Windows server systems
  • Installation, configuration, and updating of applications to ensure smooth operation

Requirements:

  • Completed training as an IT specialist in system integration or completed studies in computer science/information technology
  • Several years of experience in database and system administration or a similar position
  • Sound knowledge in the administration and maintenance of database systems
  • Experience with virtualization technologies (VMware)
  • Knowledge of network technologies (LAN/WAN, routers, switches, firewalls)
  • Fluent German and good English skills
