Nursing Department Head

Main Purpose of the Role

As a key member of Mediclinic Ermelo's management team, we are seeking a highly skilled Nursing Department Head to lead and direct the nursing service in our hospital.

Key Responsibilities

Our ideal candidate will be responsible for compiling, implementing, and monitoring the hospital-specific nursing strategy.

They will drive and support a culture of quality nursing care and patient safety, manage resources to ensure optimal operational efficiency, and manage the patient experience.

Additionally, they will lead and manage people in the nursing department and manage key stakeholder relations.

Required Education and Experience

The successful candidate must have a 3 or 4-year Diploma or 4-year Degree in Nursing, as well as a Nursing Management qualification.

They should have at least 5 years of professional experience in a tertiary healthcare institution and 2-3 years of management experience in a tertiary healthcare institution.
