At pladis Global, we are seeking a seasoned procurement professional to lead our indirect procurement efforts in Europe. As the Head of Indirect Procurement Europe, you will be responsible for developing and implementing strategic category plans, managing supplier relationships, and driving cost savings initiatives.

The Role

This is a key position within our procurement organization, and you will have the opportunity to make a significant impact on our business. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to identify opportunities for improvement and develop solutions to drive business results.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement strategic category plans to drive cost savings and improve supplier relationships
  • Manage a team of procurement professionals to ensure effective execution of procurement strategies
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify opportunities for improvement and develop solutions to drive business results
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with key suppliers to ensure reliable and cost-effective supply of indirect goods and services
  • Identify and mitigate risks associated with supplier performance and market trends

Requirements

  • Proven experience in indirect procurement, with a strong understanding of category management and supplier relationship management
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with stakeholders at all levels
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify opportunities for improvement and develop solutions to drive business results
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks and projects simultaneously
  • Strong business acumen, with a deep understanding of the pladis Global business and its operations
