Damen Naval, a subsidiary of WFS PRO BV, has been a renowned name in the shipbuilding industry for over 150 years. With a rich history and a strong reputation, we have built a legacy of excellence in designing and engineering advanced naval vessels.
As a Systems Verification Engineer at Damen Naval, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the compliance of our systems with set requirements. Your responsibilities will include collaborating with test and integration engineers on requirements engineering and verification activities, establishing system requirements, and linking them to document placeholders.
You will also be responsible for defining verification cases and specifying test specifications for physical tests. Additionally, you will execute means of compliance for systems within your scope and provide evidence of compliance.
The ideal candidate will have a bachelor's or master's degree in engineering, combined with experience in designing and engineering high-tech complex products. You should have expertise in configuration management, requirements management, and systems engineering principles and practices.
Familiarity with the VV&A process and working with class-regulated products is essential. Experience in dynamic mid-size project environments with high complexity is also required. Knowledge of good engineering practices, including quality and budget awareness, is necessary.
Fluency in English is required, with proficiency in Dutch and German considered advantageous. Excellent references are necessary, as a security screening is part of the hiring process. Permanent EU citizenship and passport are both required.
