Senior Micro Devices Director

As Senior Micro Devices Director, you will drive the strategic and operational growth of Philips' Micro-Devices division, driving business expansion to achieve ambitious growth targets. By joining Philips, you will be part of a team that is pioneering innovative solutions and driving significant growth in the Micro-Devices sector.
Your Key Responsibilities:
- Define and execute strategies to double the size of the business over the next five years, leveraging unique differentiating capabilities and expanding sales to third parties across various industries.
- Lead a multidisciplinary business management team, including Sales, Development, Operations, and Quality, ensuring alignment and engagement across all functions. Manage key stakeholder relationships within Philips Business Units and with external customers, ensuring clear visibility of Micro Devices' value proposition.
- Create and maintain an effective business strategy, in line with industry trends and the needs of Philips and external customers, and translate this strategy into required staffing, competencies, and capabilities.
- Be accountable for key cost and quality metrics of the business and align with respective functions (e.g. Finance, HR, Quality & Regulatory, Procurement, etc.).
- Take End-to-End P&L leadership with domain expertise and in-depth insight into markets and industry.
About This Role:
- You should be a seasoned leader with 10+ years of industry experience in micro-devices.
- You have an advanced degree (MSc or BSc) in Business, Engineering, or a related field.
- You have a proven track record in P&L management, OEM sales, indirect sales channels, and business development & strategy within the microelectronics or adjacent industries.
- You have a deep understanding of regulation requirements and the impact of QMS decisions on organizational transformations, including ERP system updates.
- You are a thought leader in micro-devices technology, passionate about emerging technologies and determining how to map them into product development roadmaps.
- You have strong leadership, strategic thinking, and communication skills, with the ability to align and build high-performing teams and engage effectively with markets and customers.
