Technical Warranty Specialist

We are seeking a skilled Warranty Technician to join our team at the GVB Diemen depot in Amsterdam. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for performing repairs and maintenance activities on our metro units. Your technical expertise and problem-solving skills will enable you to diagnose and resolve complex issues efficiently.

• Reparation of machinery and equipment: You will be responsible for repairing and maintaining various components of our metro units, including electrical, mechanical, and electronic systems.
• Troubleshooting and diagnostics: Your analytical skills will enable you to identify and troubleshoot faults, making accurate diagnoses and providing solutions to improve complex systems.
• Communication and reporting: You will write detailed reports and communicate effectively with your supervisor and colleagues to analyze technical problems and implement solutions.
• Teamwork and collaboration: As part of our small international team, you will work closely with colleagues to ensure accurate communication of all issues and resolve potential or existing problems in a timely manner.

• Education: A minimum of MBO 3 level in electrics, electronics, or mechatronics is preferred.
• Experience: At least one year of experience in the railway sector, preferably in aftersales or industrial maintenance.
• Technical skills: You must have a strong understanding of machinery, electronic, electrical, and mechanical systems, as well as solid knowledge of maintenance processes and previous experience in diagnosing and solving technical problems.

• Salary: The annual salary for this position ranges from €34,000 to €40,800, depending on your background and experience.
• Shift allowance: You will receive a shift allowance of 14% of your monthly salary.
• Holidays and roster free days: You will be entitled to 27 holidays and 13 roster-free days per annum, based on a 40-hour working week.
• Travel allowance: You will receive a travel allowance of €0.23 per kilometer for up to 50 kilometers per day.
