We are seeking a dedicated Facility Coordinator to play a crucial role in delivering effective and efficient services. You will oversee all operational facility tasks at our location.

Key Responsibilities of the Facility Coordinator

  • Manage facility operations at the site, including safety protocols, building upkeep, and site maintenance.
  • Identify potential hazards and compliance issues within and around the premises, ensuring a safe working environment.
  • Oversee project management. Maintain a detailed overview and coordinate various projects throughout the year, such as upgrading lighting systems in all areas. This includes diverse initiatives to sustain the building and surrounding grounds.
  • Process Improvement. Evaluate data from current systems, critically analyze existing processes for enhancements, and optimize the use of available systems.
  • Supervise cleaning personnel. Serve as the main contact for the cleaning team, manage escalations, and handle order requests to ensure effective communication and prompt resolution of issues.
  • Maintain communication with suppliers to request estimates, place orders, schedule work, and manage invoicing.

Qualifications for Success at GXO

  • Relevant experience in a similar capacity (facility services, safety, technical services, administration) or a completed degree in this field.
  • Proficient in the MS Office suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Strong communication abilities, adaptability, proactive mindset, and independence.
  • Fluent in English, with knowledge of Dutch being an advantage.
