About the Role

We are seeking a highly qualified individual to join our team as a Tenure-Track Assistant Professor in Population Mental Wellness at the School of Public Health. The successful candidate will be responsible for conducting high-quality epidemiologic research on population mental health, building and managing multidisciplinary international collaborative projects, and mentoring early career researchers and research students.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct innovative and impactful research on population mental health, with a focus on epidemiology and biostatistics.
  • Develop and lead multidisciplinary research projects, collaborating with international partners and teams.
  • Mentor and supervise early career researchers and research students, providing guidance and support in their research endeavors.
  • Contribute to the development of research proposals, grants, and funding applications.
  • Engage in academic and professional activities, such as teaching, service, and outreach, to support the growth and development of the School of Public Health.

Requirements

  • Ph.D. degree in epidemiology, biostatistics, public health, psychology, behavioral science, cognitive science, or a related field.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills, with the ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a multidisciplinary team.
  • Track record of high-quality research on population mental health, with a focus on epidemiology and biostatistics.
  • Leadership experience in building and managing international collaborative projects.
  • Expertise in analyzing large and complex datasets, with a strong understanding of statistical methods and techniques.
