Requirements- PhD in AI, computer science, machine learning, data science, or a related field with a strong emphasis on AI in healthcare.
- Clear research interest in the development and application of AI in the medical environment.
- High proficiency in spoken and written English.
- Experience with AI research projects related to healthcare, with a track record of publications in reputable conferences and journals.
- Experience with Python programming, ML frameworks, and research-oriented packages like NumPy, PyTorch, SciPy, scikit-learn, and Pandas.
- Experience with deep learning on medical data, during your PhD.
- Experience with data science, ML/DL infrastructure system administration.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with a demonstrated ability to work effectively in multidisciplinary teams.
- A full-time position (36 hours per week) in a very stimulating and interactive research environment at the Department of Cardiology.
- A salary between € 3359 and € 6156 gross per month (salary scale 10 or 11), based on full-time employment (36 hours).
- Temporary employment for 24 months with possible extension.
- Year-end bonus of 8.3% and holiday allowance of 8%.
- Pension insurance with ABP. We take care of approximately 70% of the monthly contribution.
