About this position

TNO is seeking a highly motivated and enthusiastic student to join our team as an intern in electromagnetic propagation modelling. As an intern, you will be working on a project that focuses on developing and applying analytical and/or ray tracing models to make accurate predictions about electromagnetic wave propagation during missions. This project is part of a larger research effort to improve the understanding of electromagnetic wave propagation in various environments and to develop new models and tools for predicting and mitigating the effects of electromagnetic interference.

What will be your role?

As an intern, you will be responsible for developing and applying analytical and/or ray tracing models to make accurate predictions about electromagnetic wave propagation during missions. You will work closely with our team of experts to develop and test new models, and to apply them to real-world scenarios. You will also be responsible for documenting your work and presenting your results to the team.

What we expect from you

We are looking for a student who is highly motivated and enthusiastic about electromagnetic propagation modelling. You should have a strong background in electromagnetics and experience with programming languages such as MATLAB or Python. You should also be able to work independently and as part of a team, and be able to communicate effectively with colleagues and stakeholders.
