Ship Officer

Role Overview: Rivertech seeks a diligent Ship Officer to ensure the smooth operation of vessels.

About the Role:

You will be responsible for assisting with docking and undocking, setting up and removing gangways and mooring lines, and maintaining, repairing, and cleaning the ship and its equipment. Strong communication skills, physical fitness, attention to detail, mechanical aptitude, and multitasking abilities are essential.

Key Responsibilities:

• Support all ship operations and navigation, maintaining clear communication with the crew and officers
• Assist with dockings and undockings, ensuring safe boarding and disembarking processes
• Maintain, repair, and clean the ship and its equipment

Compensation and Benefits:

Rivertech offers a salary range of $40,000 - $60,000 per year, commensurate with experience, as well as comprehensive health insurance and opportunities for professional growth.
