We are seeking an experienced Interior Furniture Maker to join our team at Van Der Loo Yacht Interiors in Waddinxveen.

Your Role in Building a Feadship

As an Interior Furniture Maker, you will play a crucial part in creating the luxurious interiors of our superyachts. You will work with traditional craftsmanship and cutting-edge technology to craft beautiful wooden furniture.

Our team combines expertise with innovation to deliver exceptional results. Your role will involve high-level artisanal work using modern machinery, often working with unique types of wood.

Your Responsibilities
  • Craft luxury yacht interiors to the highest specifications.
  • Create complex furniture components and interiors from digital drawings.
  • Apply your expertise in woodworking machinery and hand tools.
  • Work on fixed construction elements and support colleagues in interior construction and machine woodworking.

At Van Der Loo Yacht Interiors, we value continuous improvement. You will contribute to identifying and executing improvement opportunities using Lean principles to enhance our Supply Chain and related processes.

Your Skills and Experience
  • Completed MBO3 in woodworking or a similar technical background.
  • Relevant experience as a furniture maker with expertise in various tools and wood types.
  • Ability to interpret complex digital drawings into working instructions.
  • Passion for improvement and actively contributing to daily tasks.
  • Team-oriented, strong communicator, and reliable under pressure.
  • Enthusiasm for mentoring interns and newcomers.

Note: Proficiency in Dutch is desirable for this role.

What We Offer
  • Gross monthly salary between €2,400 and €3,200 for full-time.
  • One-year contract with potential for a permanent position.
  • 43 days off per year for full-time.
  • 8% holiday allowance, with an additional conditional 1%.
  • Annual profit-sharing bonus (conditional).
  • Pension via Oak pensions, plus collective health insurance.
  • Travel reimbursement at €0.23 per km (max. €100 daily).
  • Flexible hours in consultation with your supervisor.
