Job Title: Senior Cybersecurity Specialist Red Teaming
Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Cybersecurity Specialist Red Teaming to join our team at Rijkswaterstaat. As a key member of our Security Operations Center (SOC), you will be responsible for leading our red team operations, conducting complex cyber threat analysis, and providing expert advice to our security management and expert groups.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead our red team operations, conducting complex cyber threat analysis and providing expert advice to our security management and expert groups.
- Develop and implement effective security strategies to protect our digital systems and networks from cyber threats.
- Collaborate with our 24/7 skilled service desk and other cybersecurity specialists to identify and mitigate potential security risks.
- Conduct thorough security assessments and provide recommendations for improving our security posture.
- Develop and maintain relationships with external partners and vendors to ensure effective collaboration and information sharing.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest cybersecurity trends, threats, and technologies to ensure our security strategies remain effective.
Requirements:
- Relevant education in cybersecurity or a related field.
- Proven experience in a similar role or in multiple operational roles within the cybersecurity domain.
- Strong knowledge and experience in red teaming, penetration testing, and purple teaming.
- Experience in organizing and coordinating red team tests, purple team tests, or other types of security assessments.
- Ability to work on a roster basis, responsible for the operational tasks within the SOC (between 07:00-17:00). In the future, the service hours may be extended.
- Participation in a consignment roster, making you available to your colleagues on duty outside office hours.
- Passing a B-level security screening as part of the recruitment process.
- Location: Delft. At Rijkswaterstaat, we work according to the guidelines of the government. SOC work takes place on a roster basis at the office. Depending on the nature of the work, you may work from home.
