Returns Operations Coordinator

In this role, you will be stationed at our outsourced logistics facility. Your primary responsibility will be to oversee our intricate returns process, which includes tasks such as disassembly, restocking, and scrapping, along with rework services like labeling and reboxing. You will play a pivotal role in coordinating activities with our third-party logistics (3PL) partner to ensure efficient return and rework operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Facilitate smooth return and rework operations.
- Act as the first point of contact for onsite support regarding return and rework challenges, providing hands-on assistance and troubleshooting.
- Collaborate with the broader METTLER TOLEDO global network for advanced support issues.
- Conduct process evaluations and implement identified enhancements.
- Engage in IT improvements related to returns in partnership with the 3PL and IT teams.
- Manage the local IT infrastructure and provide troubleshooting as necessary.
- Ensure global consistency in processes and tools used.
- Support and promote continuous improvement initiatives and training related to returns.
- Develop and maintain operational standards (SOPs, WIs) in close collaboration with the 3PL and METTLER TOLEDO.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in logistics engineering, industrial engineering, electronics, mechanical engineering, or a related field.
- A minimum of 2 years of experience in an engineering role within a logistics or production environment, preferably with experience in return processing.
- Proficient IT knowledge of networks and troubleshooting capabilities.
- Understanding of business processes and technical requirements.
- Experience in stakeholder communication and collaboration with a 3PL partner.
- Strong continuous improvement and problem-solving skills.
- Familiarity with standard tools such as 8D/CAPA.
- Knowledge of SAP systems.
- Proficient in MS Office applications (Outlook, PowerPoint, Excel).
- Fluent in English, both spoken and written; Dutch language skills are a plus.
