We are seeking a distinguished academic to join our Department of Architecture as a Professor, commencing on September 1, 2024 or as soon as possible thereafter. The appointee will be expected to provide academic leadership, enrich and enhance the Department's international standing through excellence in their teaching, research, and/or practice-based expertise.
Key Responsibilities- Teach architectural design studios, lecture courses, and/or seminars
- Supervise postgraduate students and conduct research
- Provide academic leadership and contribute to the Department's research laboratory structure
The successful candidate will have internationally recognised standing in the discipline of architecture, a demonstrated record of research and teaching excellence, and the ability to position their work in relation to the region's broad scale and breadth of case studies. A highly competitive salary commensurate with qualifications and experience will be offered, in addition to annual leave and medical benefits.
