We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Principal Scientist to join our Technology Solutions Global R&D team at JDE Peet's. As a Principal Scientist, you will play a crucial role in driving innovation and excellence in our coffee and tea products.
Key Responsibilities:- Provide strategic guidance and expertise in modelling work on our various processes and products for global R&D and Operations.
- Represent JDE Peet's in the scientific and professional community, maintaining and growing links with research institutes, universities, and professional bodies.
- Mentor and develop other associates and teams in their scientific experiments, data analysis, and model development.
- Champion and exemplify scientific rigour and discipline within R&D, coordinating internal knowledge-sharing sessions and managing the external publication clearance process.
- Masters or PhD in physics or chemistry.
- 10 years of experience as a research scientist.
- 7 years of experience in R&D and/or operations in a fast-moving consumer goods (FMCG) company.
- Strong understanding of your own added value and ability to communicate complex information to stakeholders.
- Autonomous and self-motivated, with a cooperative and supportive attitude towards co-workers.
