We are seeking a highly skilled Data Engineer to join our team at Excelerate360. As a Data Engineer, you will play a critical role in designing, developing, and maintaining data architectures and systems that support our client's business objectives.
Key Responsibilities- Data Pipeline Development: Design and develop scalable data pipelines and systems to ensure efficient data processing and analysis.
- Collaboration and Communication: Work closely with data scientists, analysts, and other stakeholders to understand data requirements and deliver solutions that meet their needs.
- Data Integration: Implement data integration solutions using ETL tools and techniques to ensure seamless data flow between systems.
- System Optimization: Optimize and maintain existing data systems for performance and reliability, ensuring they meet the evolving needs of our clients.
- Data Quality and Integrity: Ensure data quality and integrity through rigorous testing and validation, guaranteeing accurate and reliable data insights.
- Documentation and Knowledge Sharing: Develop and maintain documentation related to data engineering processes and solutions, promoting knowledge sharing and best practices within the team.
- Experience: 3+ years of experience as a Data Engineer or in a similar role, with a strong understanding of data warehousing, ETL processes, and data integration.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in SQL and Python, with experience working with Azure and AWS. Familiarity with big data technologies such as Hadoop, Spark, and experience with Soda, dbt, and Airflow is a plus.
- Soft Skills: Excellent problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and strong communication skills in English. Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Consultancy Experience: Experience working in a consultancy or similar environment, with a strong understanding of data engineering principles and practices.
- Microsoft Fabric Experience: Experience with Microsoft Fabric, with a strong understanding of its capabilities and applications.
