Job Title: Engineering Manager
Location: Elst
About the Role:
As an Engineering Manager at The Kraft Heinz Company, you will be responsible for leading and motivating the engineering team to ensure they reach their full potential. You will manage the capex budget and capex masterplan to ensure the site continuously improves every year and complies with engineering and financial standards within the company.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage the site capex budget and ensure compliance with the capex masterplan
- Ensure correct project handover to the rest of the departments
- Analyse and prepare facilities studies relative to plant areas
- Manage and execute capital projects
- Manage a team of about 10 project engineers and support them in reaching their full potential
- Liaise with suppliers to support the development of capital engineering designs
- Work together with R&D, QA, EHS, and Operations to align projects with functional demands
- Manage CAR preparation and approval
Requirements:
- Education: Bachelor's or Master's degree in Food Technology, Engineering, or related field
- Work Experience: Relevant work experience for at least 5-7 years in a management role in food capital engineering
- Knowledge: PC software packages, Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
- Language Knowledge: Able to communicate fluently in English (both written and spoken) and Dutch (both written and spoken)
