ASML is seeking a skilled Plasma and Laser Physics Engineer to join our Satellite Team in Veldhoven. As a global company, we have development and production sites on different parts of the globe. The Satellite Team bridges the gap between our EUV Source Research and Development site in San Diego and our ASML Headquarters & EUV factory in Veldhoven.
Job ResponsibilitiesThe successful candidate will be responsible for providing support to our San Diego-based project, serving as the last line of defense in case of system issues in the Veldhoven factory. They will also ensure that the design team in San Diego understands the root cause of problems and has all the necessary information to develop a structural solution. Key responsibilities include:
- Representing the San Diego-based design team in Veldhoven
- Managing technical problems from the factory and field during office hours in Veldhoven
- Providing proactive feedback on improvement opportunities to the design team
- Supporting and executing integration of roadmap items
- Managing the introduction of new products and functionality in the factory
- Training local support teams
- Supporting and executing structural development and functional design
The ideal candidate will have a Master's degree in a technical field, preferably Mechatronics or Physics. They should have experience working in a complex environment, communicating across sectors and teams. Additionally, they should possess basic MATLAB skills and be fluent in English.
