We are seeking a highly motivated and enthusiastic Rooms Division Trainee to join our team at INNSiDE by Melia Amsterdam. As a Rooms Division Trainee, you will be responsible for assisting the Front Office and Housekeeping teams in providing exceptional service to our guests.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Welcome guests in a warm and friendly manner, ensuring a positive first impression of our hotel.
  • Collaborate with the Front Office and Housekeeping teams to ensure seamless operations and exceptional guest satisfaction.
  • Verify guest registration information, process payments, and issue room keys as needed.
  • Perform daily checklists and tasks to maintain a high level of service and quality.
  • Communicate effectively with internal departments to ensure guest satisfaction and resolve any issues that may arise.
  • Receive and deliver mail and packages, ensuring timely and efficient processing.
  • Comply with company procedures and safety policies at all times.
  • Check MOD reports and VIP lists to ensure accurate and up-to-date information.
  • Monitor and manage occupancy, check-in, and check-out processes using our system, Opera.
  • Complete hand-over and room reconciliation forms, ensuring accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Calculate and process room and linen invoices, ensuring timely and accurate payment.
  • Conduct quality checks on VIP rooms to ensure exceptional standards.
  • Order hotel amenities and supplies as needed.
  • Manage uniforms and maintain a high level of presentation and cleanliness.
