WFS PRO BV is a leading company in design, manufacturing and support of Electrical Wiring Interconnection Systems (EWIS) for Aerospace and Defense programs. Our tools and processes support our customer's in the development of EWIS.

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced EWIS engineer to join our Engineering department. Currently, they are expanding their knowledge in the area of high voltage/high power EWIS for (hybrid) electric aircraft applications. In light of new wiring design & development projects, the Engineering department of WFS PRO BV is seeking to expand her workforce with:

Key Responsibilities
  • Analyzing design requirements and performing trade-off studies
  • Making design choices and designing wire harnesses constructions and interconnections (From-To definitions)
  • Processing of aircraft systems data packages (files)
  • Writing technical reports
  • Supporting continuous functional improvements of our Engineering tooling environment, through integration and concurrent engineering with international and multi-disciplinary teams and together with system suppliers and our customers
Requirements
  • Bachelor or Master in aerospace, electrical, mechanical engineering
  • System design (components, constructions, schematics, wiring diagrams)
  • EWIS/Wiring harness functional design
  • Computer Aided Engineering (CAE) tools
  • Outlook, Word, Excel, Powerpoint, Visio)
  • Design processes and methods/standards
  • System safety analysis; Integration aspects of design; Design verification (reporting of deviations); Wiring harness installation design (3D geometry)
  • Takes initiative to help improve processes and procedures
  • Teamwork: Able to work constructively in a small team taking responsibility for assigned tasks and willing to support other team members in achieving team targets and deadlines;
  • Fluent English in speech and writing, ability to communicate clearly and concisely (including technical reports) with a reasonable amount of flair/forthcomingness
Salary and Benefits

The estimated salary for this role is between $80,000 - $110,000 per year, depending on experience. We offer a full-time contract (40 hours), a dynamic and innovative work environment, and opportunities for growth and professional development.
