Assembly Technician

As a key member of our team at Smit Mobile Equipment B.V., you will play a vital role in the assembly of mechanical units and fabricated parts. Your primary responsibility will be to assemble sub-assemblies or complete products within routine and repetitive assembly operations.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Assemble mechanical units or fabricated parts to make sub-assemblies or complete products.
2. Operate various hand and power tools, such as jigs, dies, fixtures, templates, punch presses, riveting machines, circular shears, and drill presses.
3. Fits, aligns, calibrates, and adjusts parts and mechanisms to meet tolerances and product requirements.
4. Monitor the quality of products and raw materials.
5. Perform simple routine maintenance and cleaning tasks.
6. Determine and correct minor machine malfunctions.

Requirements:

• 3-5 years of experience in a related field.
• Ability to work under broad supervision.
