Mecatronics Expert

TMC Field Service Engineering is looking for an experienced mechatronics expert to join our team as a Field Service Engineer in Eindhoven, Netherlands.

As a Field Service Engineer, you will be responsible for the installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of our packaging machines. You will work independently at customer production sites, often traveling to different locations. Your main focus will be on:

• Installing new machines and equipment at customer production sites.
• Providing technical support and services to installed machines and equipment.
• Supporting customers during the start-up of production lines, new products, or new equipment.
• Training local operators on how to use our machines.
• Carrying out Site Acceptance Tests (SAT) to ensure successful project delivery.

To be successful in this role, you will need:

• An intermediate technical degree (MBO4) in mechanical and electrical engineering, with a strong background in mechatronics.
• Knowledge of PLC software is a plus.
• A minimum of 2-5 years of experience in a technical position, preferably in a similar field.
• A willingness to travel up to 70-80% of working days, often Monday to Friday.
• Fluent English language skills are required, with knowledge of another foreign language (French, Spanish, German, Polish, or Italian) being a plus.
