About the Team
Our team is at the forefront of revolutionizing integrations with next-gen Android payment terminals. We're simplifying the landscape for Worldline terminals, enhancing payment capabilities, and enabling advanced customer journeys. By challenging our assumptions, we strive to create products that deliver exceptional value to our customers.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and mentor a diverse team of senior engineers, focusing on performance management and talent recognition. Ensure alignment with company goals and establish a high-performing, cohesive, and collaborative team.
- Architect next-generation solutions for cloud-based terminal APIs. Actively participate in high-level design tasks.
- Be a champion for best practices and industry standards on the Android/Kotlin ecosystem.
- Help the team make appropriate tradeoffs between reliability, throughput, latency, resiliency, engineering velocity, and cost.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance observability, security, and compliance across our infrastructure.
- Thrive on a high level of autonomy and responsibility.
Requirements
- Bachelor or Master's degree in Computer Science, IT Engineering, or Information Systems.
- At least 6 years of working experience in complex environments in a similar position, with a consistent track record.
- At least 3+ years of leadership experience, which includes mentoring and developing team members, driving the team's performance, and providing feedback and support as needed.
- Foster a culture of intellectual curiosity and laser focus on delivering measurable impact.
- Solid interpersonal skills to communicate and interact with both internal and external stakeholders from varying disciplines and cultures.
