Senior Legal Advisor

About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Legal Counsel to join our team at AWL-Techniek. As a Legal Counsel, you will play a key role in providing legal advice and support to our business units, ensuring that our operations are compliant with all relevant laws and regulations.

Key Responsibilities

• Drafting, reviewing, and negotiating commercial contracts with customers, suppliers, and partners;
• Advising the board and management on legal matters;
• Creating and maintaining legal awareness within the organization;
• Maintaining and advising on corporate housekeeping;
• Drafting and updating procedures according to laws and regulations;
• Maintaining external contacts with lawyers and legal experts;
• Monitoring legal deadlines and providing support in all possible areas;
• Providing legal training for colleagues.

Requirements

• Completed university-level education in law;
• Several years of work experience in commercial law or as a lawyer in an international, complex, and dynamic company;
• Good command of the Dutch and English languages in word and writing;
• Confidence, eagerness to learn, and ability to master new things quickly;
• Willingness to travel occasionally (internationally) for work;
• Availability for a minimum of 32 hours a week at our headquarters in Harderwijk, with partial working from home a possibility.
