Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate within a DevOps team to develop our new SaaS platform.
  • Foster partnerships with our product and service teams.
  • Provide internally developed tools such as CI/CD and an Internal Developer Platform.
  • Share and gather best practices, templates, CI tools, scorecards, and self-service resources across our platform.
  • Identify opportunities for application and process enhancements, documenting the rationale for team discussions.
  • Implement structural changes to the team's products, code, and architecture.
  • Ensure development processes align with CI/CD principles, maximizing automation.
  • Align the needs and requirements of various roles within the organization, including software engineers, QA engineers, product owners, and software architects.
  • Review team pull requests and provide recommendations to enhance code quality and adherence to best practices.

Required Qualifications:

  • Proficient in .Net and cloud technologies.
  • Possess a DevOps mindset.
  • Strong understanding of Azure Cloud services.
  • Familiarity with other cloud providers is advantageous.
  • Experience in C# and willingness to work with additional programming languages as needed.
  • Knowledge of Infrastructure as Code, including tools like Pulumi and Terraform.
  • Demonstrated technical leadership capabilities and collaborative skills.
  • Experience working within Agile methodologies.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience in software development.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in software engineering and/or operations.
  • Hands-on experience with Continuous Integration tools and proficiency in scripting languages (e.g., PowerShell, Bash).
  • Familiarity with SQL Server, REST APIs, Solid Principles, Microservices, Docker, and Test-Driven Development (TDD).
  • Comprehensive understanding of operational processes and their implications for solutions, architecture, testing, and implementation.
  • Lead technical initiatives for products, components, or modules, including roadmap development and technical leadership.
