Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented QC Technician II to join our team at Thermo Fisher Scientific. As a key member of our quality control team, you will be responsible for performing daily testing of products to ensure they meet our customer's needs following established methods and standard operating procedures (SOPs).

Key Responsibilities
  • Execution of analyses (HPLC / UPLC (SEC, Affinity, RP), spectrophotometry, microbiology, electrophoresis, pH, conductivity, ELISA) on samples from production and on finished products
  • Perform stability studies according to stability protocols
  • Support in validation of analytical methods according to a protocol
  • Generation and revision of SOPs
  • Review of analytical data
  • Demonstrate judgment, tact, and diplomacy in dealing with internal and external customers
Requirements
  • Bachelor's Degree (HLO/HBO) in analytical, biochemistry, or a comparable field
  • MLO with proven experience (e.g., 3 years) with the relevant analytical techniques
  • Experience with HPLC/UPLC and/or protein analysis is a plus
  • Strong people skills, team-focused
  • Strong written, verbal, and organizational skills, and the ability to work independently
  • Proficiency in the English language (both orally and in writing)
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks as necessary
  • Comfortable working with quality standards in a ISO 9001 environment
