We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Assistant IT Manager to join our team at the HKU. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing, building, and enhancing software systems based on business requirements.
Key Responsibilities:- Design and develop software systems using agile approach, microservices, DevOps, API, and App containerization.
- Develop system mock-up and proof-of-concept (PoC) and perform system test, system integration test, system performance test, and system stress test.
- Prepare software documentation and artifacts, including architecture diagram, technical specification, system test plan, and system operations manual.
- Coordinate and supervise external implementation partners for their delivery of quality services.
- Provide end-user support by handling their enquiries and requests in a timely manner.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Technology or related disciplines.
- At least 2 years' experience in system development and solution implementation.
- Sound understanding of agile approach, microservices, DevOps, API, and App containerization.
- Hands-on development practices using React.js,.Net Core, PHP, NodeJS, CSS, MS SQL Server, MySQL, MongoDB, OutSystems, and UiPath.
- Good command of written and spoken English and Chinese.
- Highly competitive salary commensurate with qualifications and experience.
