Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Engine Development Specialist to join our team at Yacht. As a key member of our System Integration team, you will be responsible for the preparation, execution, analysis, and reporting of functional engine test activities across various engine development projects.

Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare, execute, and analyze functional tests or investigations on engine sub-systems/components and their controls.
  • Coordinate test set-up and test execution.
  • Evaluate and report test results.
  • Maintain existing Engine Test Standards under your responsibility.
  • Develop new test procedures for engine components and engine systems and their controls.
  • Active contribution to improve test efficiency and test quality.
  • Collaboration in project teams.

Requirements

  • Degree in Mechanical or Automotive Engineering.
  • Knowledge of internal combustion engines and aftertreatment, and sub-systems like fuel system, lubrication system.
  • Knowledge of modern engine controls, sensors, actuators, and electronics.
  • Willingness to develop experience on measurement techniques for temperature, pressure, flow, and data analysis.
  • Enthusiasm to deal with complex engine systems and development of solutions for complex technical challenges.
  • Good English skills are mandatory, Dutch skills are a plus.
  • Able to work in a complex project-oriented environment.

What We Offer

Contract through Yacht of at least 1 year, we follow the salary chart of DAF Trucks. For this position, the salary range depends on the highest earned degree and years of experience. The range is between € 4,200,- up to max € 6,200,- gross per month based on 36 hours a week (excluding holiday allowance of 8.33%). 37.5 hour work week.

Yacht also has benefits as a home office budget of € 750,- and annually a budget of € 3,500,- for following courses to further develop in your career.
