As a vital member of the Complaint Handling team within the Image Guided Therapy Systems Quality organization, you will play a crucial role in safeguarding patient safety, ensuring high-quality standards, and maintaining customer satisfaction through effective complaint management. Your expertise will be instrumental in leading investigations into complaints, ensuring that our products meet the highest safety and effectiveness standards while also fostering customer trust.
Key Responsibilities:
Drive excellence in complaint management operations as the Complaint Handling Operations Lead. Collaborate with business units to formulate and implement complaint handling strategies that prioritize customer satisfaction, patient safety, and regulatory compliance. Lead initiatives aimed at enhancing complaint handling processes and driving continuous improvement. Oversee management reviews and coordinate internal and external audits. Develop and execute corrective and preventive action plans to address issues related to complaint handling and medical device reporting. Act as a liaison with product specialists across various departments (R&D, Clinical, Manufacturing, Suppliers) to ensure thorough investigations of product-related complaints. Escalate unresolved complaints to the Complaint Handling Business Lead to facilitate timely resolutions. Create and deliver training materials to educate associates on relevant procedures, policies, and guidelines.Qualifications:
A Bachelor's degree or higher in Engineering or Science is preferred. A minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in a senior subject matter expert or leadership role within the medical device or regulated industries, focusing on quality functions such as complaint handling and adverse event reporting. Proven experience in leading improvement initiatives and managing teams and projects. A strong commitment to product quality, customer satisfaction, and patient safety. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to address complex challenges creatively. Proficient in regulatory writing and effective communication during audits. High levels of engagement, motivation, and adaptability. Familiarity with global medical device regulations and standards, including 21 CFR Parts 803, 806, and 820, ISO 13485, ISO 14971, and others.About Philips
