Industrial Manufacturing Optimization Specialist

We are looking for a skilled Manufacturing Engineer who is passionate about optimizing production processes and has a deep understanding of lean manufacturing principles.

This role is integral to ensuring that our production lines operate at peak efficiency, delivering the highest quality standards in 3D printing technology. You will work on the optimization of existing lines in Zaltbommel and lead the setup of new lines for new products.

1. Design, implement, and optimize production processes;
2. Lead and support engineering projects aimed at expanding manufacturing capabilities;
3. Implement lean manufacturing and continuous improvement methodologies;
4. Provide on-the-floor engineering support, including troubleshooting equipment and process issues;
5. Analyze production data to identify trends, bottlenecks, and improvement opportunities;
6. Partner with the Quality team to establish and monitor product quality standards;
7. Document all manufacturing processes, changes, and updates in compliance with industry and Ultimaker standards.

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related field;
• 4+ years of experience in a manufacturing engineering role, preferably in high-tech or electronics manufacturing;
• Proven experience in implementing lean manufacturing and continuous improvement processes;
• Proficiency in CAD software (e.g., SolidWorks, AutoCAD);
• Strong understanding of manufacturing equipment and tooling;
• Experience with data analysis tools (e.g., Excel, Minitab) for performance tracking and process optimization;
• Excellent problem-solving skills with a strong attention to detail;
• Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a cross-functional team;
• Strong organizational and project management skills;
• Effective communicator, in Dutch and English, with the ability to translate technical details into clear action steps for production teams.

$95,000 - $110,000 per year, depending on experience.
