Grants Expert

We are seeking a highly skilled Grants Expert to join our team at Uniper. As a key member of our New Green Power and Gas Area, you will play a crucial role in securing financial support for our growth projects in the Netherlands.

As a Grants Expert, you will be responsible for identifying potential funding sources, developing compelling grant proposals, and overseeing the entire lifecycle of grants. You will work closely with our project teams, Business Controlling, Finance, Corporate Communication, and Governmental Relations to ensure effective implementation of grant-funded projects.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Researching grant opportunities and identifying potential funding sources
• Developing grant proposals that clearly articulate our growth project's mission, objectives, and intended use of funds
• Managing grant budgets and monitoring expenses throughout the grant period
• Overseeing the entire lifecycle of grants, from application submission to final reporting
• Collaborating with project teams and stakeholders to ensure effective implementation of grant-funded projects

We are looking for a highly skilled and experienced Grants Expert who possesses:

• A university degree in law, economics, or political science
• Several years of professional experience in funding management, including an understanding of relevant regulations, policies, and best practices governing grant funding
• An understanding of energy markets and a sound commercial understanding
• An existing network in the field of funding, preferably
• An integrative and pragmatic personality with the ability to effectively manage stakeholders and interfaces
• Excellent analytical skills and the ability to understand complex topics and describe them in an understandable manner
• Intercultural competence and excellent communication skills
