We are seeking an experienced Construction Project Manager to lead our team on a large-scale Pharmaceutical Construction project in the Netherlands.

About the Role

The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the day-to-day activities of contractors, ensuring they complete their contracts in terms of safety, quality, schedule, cost, and documentation. Key responsibilities include monitoring site activities, coordinating with other teams, and maintaining quality control measures.

A key aspect of this role is coordination with other CMT personnel to ensure interfaces between contractors are well-coordinated, and all stakeholders are fully informed. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication and reporting skills, as well as experience working in the Life Sciences and/or Mission Critical sectors.

This position requires strong leadership skills, with the ability to motivate and direct a team towards achieving project objectives. If you have a proven track record of delivering complex construction projects and possess excellent interpersonal skills, we would like to hear from you.

Key Responsibilities
  • Monitor and coordinate contractor activities to ensure compliance with safety, quality, and scheduling requirements
  • Coordinate with other teams, including commissioning, to ensure smooth handovers and minimize delays
  • Maintain accurate records of site activities, progress, and issues
  • Identify and mitigate risks, escalating concerns to senior management as necessary
  • Develop and implement quality control measures to ensure high-quality workmanship
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent in a relevant field
  • At least twenty years' experience in the Construction Services sector
  • Proven track record of delivering complex construction projects
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Familiarity with Dutch and English languages
