We are seeking a highly motivated Associate International Tax professional to join our international practice. As an Associate, you will work in a dynamic and enthusiastic team with a impressive client portfolio. You will have a high degree of autonomy and direct client contact. As an Associate International Tax, you will be directly involved in advising international operating clients on tax matters and will have immediate responsibility. You will primarily advise on issues related to corporate tax, dividend tax, conditional withholding tax, payroll tax, and tax treaties. Our clients include international operating companies, organizations, and governments: from listed multinationals to sovereign wealth funds and everything in between.
In daily practice, you will work closely with other practice groups (e.g., Corporate Notary, Employment, Finance, and Litigation) and have a coordinating role towards foreign colleagues and specialists. You will build your own client portfolio and contribute to the growth of the Tax practice group and the firm. To maintain and improve relationships with clients and foreign offices, international activities and events are regularly organized. Additionally, DLA Piper offers its employees the opportunity for a secondment to clients or DLA Piper offices abroad.

Main Duties and Responsibilities- Advising international operating clients on tax matters related to corporate tax, dividend tax, conditional withholding tax, payroll tax, and tax treaties;
- Close collaboration with colleagues from other practice groups (e.g., Corporate Notary, Employment, Finance, and Litigation);
- Coordinating role towards foreign colleagues and specialists;
- Building your own client portfolio and contributing to the growth of the Tax practice group.
We are looking for candidates with:
- A completed Dutch master's degree in fiscal law or fiscal economics;
- A completed NOB education;
- 3 to 7 years of experience gained in the international tax advisory practice, with experience with the US being an advantage;
- A strong sense of entrepreneurship;
- A convincing and energetic personality;
- An ambition to further develop and grow within the firm;
- Excellent command of the Dutch and English languages, both verbally and in writing.
