Technical Supervisor Job Description

About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled Technical Supervisor to join our team at the Niu Fender hotel in Amsterdam East. As a Technical Supervisor, you will play a crucial role in maintaining and enhancing the infrastructure of our 246-room hotel, ensuring a seamless and enjoyable stay for our guests.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide technical assistance and support to guests and staff, addressing issues with in-room amenities, Wi-Fi connectivity, and other hotel-related matters.
  • Perform regular maintenance of hotel technology systems, including televisions, room controls, and key card systems, to ensure they are in excellent working condition.
  • Identify and resolve technical issues promptly to minimize guest disruptions, ensuring a smooth and enjoyable stay for all guests.
  • Maintain and update smart features in guest rooms, such as smart thermostats and lighting systems, to improve energy efficiency and guest convenience.
  • Collaborate with the hotel's operations team to coordinate repairs and upgrades, and provide technical insights to enhance the overall guest experience.
  • Keep track of technical equipment, spare parts, and supplies, and request replenishments as needed to ensure the smooth operation of hotel systems.
  • Implement and follow best practices to maintain the security and privacy of guest data and hotel systems.

Requirements:

  • A minimum of 2 years of real-life tech experience.
  • A MBO diploma in a relevant field.
  • Excellent technical skills and knowledge of common hotel systems.
  • Strong troubleshooting skills to identify and resolve technical issues promptly.
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a team, collaborating with colleagues in various hotel departments.
  • Willingness to stay up-to-date with the latest technology trends and adapt to changes in hotel technology.
