B1/B2 Licensed Engineer – Base Maintenance

Flightjobs/DVV Media, in collaboration with a prominent airline partner, is pleased to present an opportunity for B1/B2 Engineers with expertise in the B737, B777, B787, and A320/A330 aircraft. This is a permanent role that offers a balanced work-life dynamic within a top-tier work setting.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Overseeing seamless (maintenance) operations on the ground.
  • Conducting and supervising inspection, maintenance, and modification tasks.
  • Executing work in accordance with required specifications and regulatory compliance.
  • Authorizing aircraft for service.
  • Enhancing existing maintenance processes.
  • Contributing to the growth and development of your team.
  • Working in a shift-oriented environment.

You will be part of a dedicated team at one of the maintenance facilities, with occasional travel opportunities. You will join the Airframe department, responsible for the upkeep of the aircraft fleet for both the airline and international clients. The Airframe department is a segment of the broader Engineering & Maintenance division, recognized as a leader in global aircraft maintenance.


Essential Skills & Experience:

We seek a passionate and capable Aircraft Maintenance Engineer who demonstrates a strong sense of accountability. Your goal is to deliver aircraft efficiently and effectively to clients, collaborating closely with your team. You are decisive and proactive, striving to achieve your objectives while taking pride in your contributions. Building connections and engaging with diverse individuals comes naturally to you, allowing for smooth interactions with everyone from support staff to customer representatives and flight crews.

  • EASA Part 66 recognized B1 or B2 license.
  • At least one type rating on the B737, B777, B787, A330, or A320NEO.
  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in base maintenance on commercial aircraft.
  • Eligibility to work within the region.
  • Proficient in English, with strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Dutch language skills are not mandatory.
  • Exemplary self-discipline, motivation, and teamwork capabilities.
