Data Center Facility Engineer

The Data Center Facility Engineer will play a crucial role in assisting the engineering team with coordination, installation, and integration of electrical and mechanical systems, operations, and maintenance for critical and non-critical systems within the QTS portfolio.
Responsibilities:- Provide technical support to all aspects of data center operations, including the operation, maintenance, and repair of mission-critical equipment and systems to achieve 100% uptime and 100% compliance with customer SLAs.
- Assist in site construction activities and installations, coordinating with QTS Development Team and external resources to ensure system design, installation, and testing adhere to operational standards.
- Support local customer installations, coordinating with Sales Engineering, Design & Construction, and Colocation Operations to coordinate site technical solutions and drawings for customer move-ins and turn-ups.
- Implement and audit local standard operating procedures in conjunction with Corporate Audit teams.
- Maintain compliance with local health & safety standards and national electrical and building codes.
- Interface with vendors, QTS Engineering, QTS Development, and peer operations organizations.
- Ensure adherence to standard operating procedures, method of procedures, and emergency response procedures established for critical environments.
- Participate in technical review and input on plans for significant planned and emergency maintenance events for the facility.
- Three or more years of direct experience with engineering-related activities in a technical or critical environment.
- Bachelor's degree (HBO) or professional equivalent.
- HVAC or critical power certifications or equivalent professional experience.
- Ability to travel to other Data Center locations as required (estimated 10-25% travel).
- Comfortable in both Dutch and English.
- Working days Monday to Friday.
- 25 Paid time off + 8% holiday allowance.
- Salary up to €7,250 gross per month for a full-time job (40 hours).
- Paid volunteer days; parental leave; QTS scholarship for dependents; wellness program, and other company benefits.
- This position is Bonus eligible.
