Plant Improvement Specialist

The Plant Continuous Improvement Lead will be responsible for driving process improvement initiatives across the facility. This role will involve developing and implementing strategies to enhance operational efficiency, reduce costs, and improve overall performance.
Key Responsibilities- Provide regular updates on project objectives, performance metrics, and issues to stakeholders and management.
- Lead the local training team to ensure effective knowledge transfer and skill development.
- Monitor and implement best practices for continuous improvement.
- Develop and execute continuous improvement plans for projects with low cost and risk to achieve project goals.
- Conduct organization readiness assessments, value realization, opportunity prioritization, resource evaluation, and execute continuous improvement strategies that meet business needs.
- Facilitate root cause analysis and Kaizens, as well as train plant members on continuous improvement tools.
- Independently handle complex issues with minimal supervision while escalating only the most difficult issues to appropriate staff.
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent experience.
- Minimum of four years of related work experience.
- Knowledge of Dutch is an asset.
Experience leading and managing teams for high-performance, Lean Six Sigma belt certification, and a strong understanding of continuous improvement principles.
