Seatrade Groningen B.V. is seeking a highly skilled Quality Assurance Coordinator to join our team. As a key member of our organization, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the highest standards of quality, safety, and environmental sustainability in our operations.
Key Responsibilities:- Develop and implement quality management systems to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Conduct audits and inspections to identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions.
- Provide guidance and support to Marine Superintendents, DPA Italy, Fleetteam Operators, and the RFMO Compliance Officer to ensure effective implementation of quality management systems.
- Ensure ISM/ISO compliance both onboard and ashore, and manage internal and external audits.
- Collaborate with the team to identify and implement process improvements to enhance operational efficiency and effectiveness.
- Bachelor's degree in maritime studies or a related field.
- At least 5 years of sea experience, preferably as a Captain.
- Strong leadership and people management skills with a team-oriented approach.
- Exceptional communication skills in English and Dutch.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and database applications, with excellent analytical skills.
- Living in the vicinity of Groningen.
