Wat houdt de stage in?

Het ontwikkelen van gebruikersinterfaces is een gevestigde praktijk, maar de noodzaak voor cross-platform oplossingen is de laatste jaren toegenomen. Dit is vooral relevant voor producten die draaien op een embedded Linux platform. Binnen DEMCON is het essentieel om de meest geschikte frameworks voor gangbare programmeertalen te onderzoeken, waarbij aspecten zoals prestaties en ontwikkeltijd in overweging worden genomen. Deze stage richt zich op het uitvoeren van dit onderzoek en het creëren van enkele proof of concept applicaties om de bevindingen te onderbouwen.

Opdrachtomschrijving

Om cross-platform gebruikersinterfaces effectief te evalueren, stelt het softwareteam de volgende taken voor:


• Identificeer de beschikbare cross-platform frameworks

Binnen DEMCON worden momenteel de volgende programmeertalen gebruikt voor de ontwikkeling van gebruikersinterfaces:

o C#/.NET

o C++

De stagiair dient te onderzoeken welke frameworks voor deze talen beschikbaar zijn en toepasbaar zijn binnen DEMCON.


• Ontwikkel een proof of concept met de geselecteerde frameworks

Om de prestaties, ontwikkelsnelheid en andere relevante factoren te beoordelen, moet er een proof of concept worden ontwikkeld waarmee de toepasbaarheid van het framework voor DEMCON kan worden vastgesteld.

Wat verwachten wij van jou?

Je bent een HBO of WO student in de richting van Computer Science of een vergelijkbare opleiding.


• Je hebt ervaring met programmeren.


• Je hebt kennis van C++.
