Kitchen Porter Assistant

We're seeking a highly motivated and organized Kitchen Porter to join our team at The Hoxton Lloyd, Amsterdam.
This is an exciting opportunity to be part of a dynamic and fast-paced kitchen environment, where you'll play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our back of house.
As a Kitchen Porter, you'll be responsible for maintaining a clean and organized workspace, ensuring that all equipment and utensils are in good working order, and supporting the kitchen team in their daily tasks.
Key Responsibilities:
- Ensure a clean and organized workspace, including the kitchen, storage areas, and equipment.
- Assist the kitchen team with food preparation, plating, and presentation.
- Unload food and equipment deliveries, and maintain a clean and organized storage area.
- Communicate effectively with the kitchen team and other departments to ensure seamless operations.
- Perform other reasonable requests from management.

We're looking for a team player who is passionate about hospitality and has a strong work ethic. If you're a motivated and organized individual who is eager to learn and grow with our team, we'd love to hear from you.
Key Requirements:
- Experience in a fast-paced kitchen environment.
- Ability to work effectively in a team and communicate with colleagues and management.
- Basic knowledge of kitchen equipment and procedures.
- Ability to lift and move heavy objects, and stand for long periods.
- Flexibility to work varied shifts, including evenings and weekends.
