About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and independent college/bachelor/master student with a background in chemistry, material sciences, or chemical/materials engineering to contribute to the upgrading of different rPP compounds. The successful candidate will work closely with our team of experts to add stabilizers and reinforcements/fillers to the PP matrix, and help identify suitable market applications for the rPP compounds.

Key Responsibilities

  • Contribute to the upgrading of rPP compounds by adding stabilizers and reinforcements/fillers to the PP matrix.
  • Help identify suitable market applications for the rPP compounds based on the obtained improvement in properties and performance.
  • Understand migration in PP and measure the tendency of migration of specific contaminations.
  • Contribute to enriching the knowledge on the safety and processability of upgraded rPP compounds through extensive material characterization techniques.

Requirements

  • Proactive and independent college/bachelor/master student with a background in one of the following areas: chemistry, material sciences, or chemical/materials engineering.
  • Knowledge and affinity for polymer science is a requirement, as well as experience working in a laboratory environment.
  • Data collection and organization via Excel sheets and basic analysis/post-processing of data is expected.
  • Experience with polymer processing, material/mechanical testing is a plus.
  • Good communication skills in English, particularly for presenting your work and writing reports, is expected.
