Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Technical Software Test Engineer to join our team at Trinamics Beheer B.V. in Utrecht. As a key member of our software development team, you will be responsible for ensuring the quality and reliability of our software products through robust testing and automation.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement comprehensive test plans and test cases to identify and resolve defects in our software products.
  • Collaborate with our development team to understand software requirements and specifications, and to ensure seamless integration of testing into our development lifecycle.
  • Design and implement automated testing scripts using Python to improve testing efficiency and accuracy.
  • Conduct unit testing and integration testing to identify and resolve defects, and to ensure that our software products meet the required quality standards.
  • Implement Behavior-Driven Development (BDD) practices to enhance test coverage and improve the overall quality of our software products.
  • Execute regression tests and analyze test results to identify areas for improvement and to ensure continuous quality enhancement.
  • Identify, document, and report software defects and anomalies to ensure timely resolution and to prevent reoccurrence.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science or a related field.
  • Proven experience in software testing and test automation, with a strong focus on quality and reliability.
  • Expertise in Python for test automation, with a strong understanding of unit testing frameworks and BDD tools and practices.
  • Proficiency in software development life cycle (SDLC) and agile methodologies, with a solid understanding of software quality assurance principles.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and strong communication and collaboration skills.
  • ISTQB or similar certifications (preferred but not required).
