Objective:
The individuals in this role are tasked with the logistics planning, oversight, and execution of processes related to global fleet management and resource allocation, which includes:

  • Strategic Planning & Oversight.
  • Transportation & Storage Management.
  • Overall Logistics Enhancement.
  • Formulating transport schedules, methodologies, and routes.
  • Cargo management and strategies to optimize depot and logistics service center operations.
  • Evaluating and forecasting transportation expenses.
  • Coordinating customs clearance and necessary permits.
  • Addressing capacity challenges and making production location decisions to align with business objectives.

Level of Responsibility:
This position is suitable for entry-level professionals or those with substantial experience in operations, technical, or support roles. Candidates typically possess higher education qualifications or have gained expert operational knowledge through extensive work experience. This role serves as the first point of contact for non-standard situations and includes providing guidance and training to junior staff members.

Primary Duties:

  • Managing the mobilization and demobilization processes, including the delivery of equipment and materials to various project sites, ensuring all necessary documentation is submitted and relevant systems and databases are updated.
  • Ensuring accurate documentation for import and export processes of all materials and related equipment, in collaboration with relevant authorities as needed.
  • Administering the required cargo and driver documentation and certifications.
  • Overseeing the collection and delivery of equipment to and from client locations.
  • Establishing and maintaining direct communication with all transport suppliers to ensure compliance with requirements.
  • Generating relevant performance monitoring data regarding On Time In Full and transport recoveries.
  • Identifying appropriate equipment to meet contract specifications.
  • Ensuring adherence to Aggreko's procedures, including ISO, Internal, External, and PLC Audits.
  • Upholding strict compliance with Aggreko's QHSE policies and practices.
  • Providing expert advice to employees as necessary.

Required Qualifications:
A University Degree, Specialized Diploma, or Vocational Training is preferred.
