About This PositionThe RAPID department at TNO is looking for a talented individual to join their team of experts in exposure assessment and risk management. Our goal is to prevent occupational diseases by developing cutting-edge tools and models to estimate exposures, toxicity, and potential health risks.
Your core responsibilities will include:
- Strategy development with the exposure assessment and risk management team;
- Overseeing project portfolios and knowledge development to drive strategy success;
- Taking the scientific lead in projects;
- Initiating networking activities and project acquisition to explore new funding possibilities.
We are seeking an enthusiastic and proactive team player with a broad scientific and practical interest in exposure assessment and risk management. Your curiosity, innovative ideas, and solutions will make you a great fit for this role.
- An academic background in Occupational/Environmental Health Sciences, Industrial Hygiene, Life Science Technology, or a related field;
- Knowledge of exposure assessment and modeling techniques;
- Interest in chemical and biological exposures, related health risks, and risk management strategies;
- An existing international network in exposure assessment and risk management;
- Skills in strategic planning, networking, and team coordination;
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
As a Senior Researcher Exposure Assessment and Management at TNO, you can expect a competitive salary range of €58,000 - €70,000 per year (based on experience), as well as additional benefits such as:
- A 13th month bonus of 8.33%;
