About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Environment, Health and Safety (EHS) Manager to lead our global projects in The Netherlands. As an EHS Program Manager at Google, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the safety and compliance of our operations.

Key Responsibilities:
  • EHS Risk Management: Identify and evaluate operational EHS risks, assessing their impact on the business and designing programs to mitigate those risks.
  • Stakeholder Communication: Meet regularly with stakeholders to communicate performance and requirements, building trusted relationships and ensuring effective decision-making.
  • Certification and Compliance: Drive the implementation and active maintenance of ISO 14001 certification, maintaining environmental permits and ensuring compliance with regulations.
  • EHS Program Management: Manage EHS programs independently to ensure a safe and compliant workplace, focusing on continuous improvement.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • 2 years of experience in program or project management.
  • Experience in Environmental, Health and Safety (EHS) management and managing EHS compliance for industrial facilities in The Netherlands.
  • Ability to communicate in Dutch fluently.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Master's degree in Environmental Management or related field.
  • BSCP, NEBOSH, or equivalent certification.
  • Experience in data centers and electrical safety.
  • Knowledge of The Netherlands EHS regulations.

Salary Estimate: €80,000 - €110,000 per year, depending on experience.
